This place suits me perfectly! Free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a lovely coffee shop make it convenient. The staff helped me with an insect bite on my first visit, which I remember fondly. I highly recommend it and look forward to my return this Christmas.

Luggage cart and elevator very helpful. The porter who helped with the luggage. The cold cereal was good but not much of a variety of other breakfast foods.
Bed was too hard for my wife. The shower temperature didn't adjust very well--if you turned the knob a little the temperature changed too much. There was no seating in the lobby for breakfast--only the computer chair. Need more choices for breakfast, like fresh fruit, hot cereal. The parking spaces are pretty tight.

In my kids' opinion, the breakfast lacked more variety for picky eaters.

It was clean. The staff was very helpful. The accommodations were as nice as many overpriced hotels. [2 Queen beds, microwave & fridge, nightstand, armoir/tv, padded chair & bench seats, & desk with office chair (except when the chair was at the desk, you could not get to the bathroom, yet I liked being able to roll the chair to the sink counter to do make-up.)] I did not take advantage of the very resonably priced homemade breakfasts you can order, since my travel plans involved family meals elsewhere, and the free continental breakfast was enough to keep me satisfied; I was pleased to have such a convientent option available. Location was perfect; close to everything - tourist attractions & my family.
When I arrived, I opened my window to get some air, but I could not re- lock the window when I saw that the screen was missing from my window. The person on duty at midnight, at the front desk, came up to help me close the window and promised I would have a screen & a new window lock in the morning. I was pleased to see that The new screen was installed when I returned later that day, however the lock that was installed would not allow me to open the window. Luckily their a/c unit quickly. Ooled the room & the fan setting kept room comfortable all night.

The location and the price were excellent.
You advertise a complimentary breakfast, but that was just barely true. We pretty much had to find breakfast through other means. Broken and torn couch. The bed itself was comfortable for me, however, the sheets were so cheap and rough that I got a friction burn on my right elbow and both knees from roughness of the sheets. The things above were an inconvenience, the burns on my knees and elbow is a problem.

I appreciated the lovely suite and especially the fancy mirror – it was so fun! The sun terrace offered great spots to unwind, and I loved the cozy lounge chairs. Just a bit tricky with parking, but overall a fantastic stay! 😊

The online picture was way nicer than the hotel, it was old and somewhat runned down. Parking was horrible and our bathroom was not clean, for the $ I paid I would have chose somewhere else. Very very disappointed, their free breakafast dont even bother......and on top of that they charged us $6 a day to park in their garage. The only one good thing was location but I recommend any of the other nearby hotels instead. I wouid never stay here again.

Parking spaces limited and hotel clean but small and somewhat ugly.

Decent option for a weekend escape in San Diego with fantastic value for money. The room was big and tidy, a pleasant surprise. Check out the nice patio for breakfast there.

After reading other quest comments we found it better than expected. The room was clean (and with refrigerator and microwave.) They were very helpfull with informations. We had no car so we used trolly and bus to Ensenada Mexico (blue line +ABC bus), Down Town (blue line), Zoo (blue line + bus 7) , Point Loma(bus 28+84), Airport (blue line+bus 922). It was all really days we will remember. Do not forget to visit Point Loma with its view over all San Diego to Mexico and the Pacific Ocean.
The breakfest was really basic (as on other hotels in the area? according to our daugther. If you can find a supermarked buy something additional and use the terrase with morning sun). The internet were only free for 15 minutes per day.

The staff member at the front desk was amazing! Very friendly and helpful, we were upgraded to a better room with no extra cost. The room was huge, and very clean, and even though we were a bit late for breakfast the guy at the front desk served us anyway. Just a few blocks from Old town. Definitely recommend.

The location was perfect for exploring old town, and the staff were super cute. Unlike my last visit in san diego, everything here exceeded my expectations.
